Four more Alabama Independent School Association schools will join the AHSAA beginning with the 2024-2025 school year.

The Central Board of Control unanimously approved membership requests from Autauga Academy, Glenwood, Lee-Scott and Pickens Academy at its annual meeting on Tuesday morning in Montgomery.

The Board heard short presentations from each school before going into executive session to vote. The representatives from Glenwood and Lee-Scott said they believed their schools would fall into Class 3A of the AHSAA. Autauga Academy and Pickens Academy believed they would be in Class 1A.
