Alabama football’s Trezmen Marshall ‘feeling great’ after Arkansas injury

Alabama football linebacker Trezmen Marshall was injured in Saturday’s win over Arkansas. After the game, head coach Nick Saban said he did not think it was a major issue.

On Tuesday, Marshall spoke to local media in Tuscaloosa and gave a positive update on his health.

“I’m feeling great,” Marshall said. “Just getting treatment, trying to heal up and get ready for this big game.”

Tight end CJ Dippre was also injured in Saturday’s game. Afterward, Saban said one of the two players had a pulled muscle, while the other suffered bruised ribs.

Marshall transferred in from Georgia during the past offseason. He has compiled 40 tackles and 2.5 sacks throughout the 2023 season.

He was asked how his transition to Alabama has been, and had nothing but nice things to say about joining the Crimson Tide.

“I love it,” Marshall said. “I love Coach Saban. I love him. It’s crazy how much I love him. Just being here, I found out really this is a tradition school. Everything here is traditional. I like that. I love that about this school. “

Marshall and his Alabama teammates are scheduled to face Tennessee at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will be aired on CBS.
