The Texas A&M offense has converted 34.34 percent of its third-down snaps into first downs (34-of-99), the worst rate in the SEC.

In four seasons at the helm of the Ragin’ Cajuns, Napier had a 27-5 record against Sun Belt Conference competition and a 40-12 overall mark.

7 Rushing TDs have been scored by Texas A&M this season. The Aggies have had at least 10 rushing TDs eight games into every other season in this century. Texas A&M’s 229 rushing attempts in 2022 also are the Aggies’ fewest eight games into a season since 2000.

38 Years since Texas A&M had fewer points eight games into the season than it does in 2022, when the Aggies have scored 181. In 1983, Texas A&M had 173 points and a 3-4-1 record eight games into the season.

42 Years since Texas A&M had a record of 3-6 or worse nine games into a season. The Aggies will be 3-6 in 2022 if they lose on Saturday. In 1980, Texas A&M won only two of its first nine games before defeating TCU and Texas to finish the campaign with a 4-7 mark.

338 Passing yards and four TD passes for Texas A&M QB Conner Weigman in his first career start last week. Before the Aggies’ 31-28 loss to Ole Miss, Weigman had 91 passing yards and no TD passes in his college career. He completed 28-of-44 passes with no interceptions against the Rebels. Weigman’s passing yardage was the most in a game for a true freshman in Texas A&M history. Weigman became the first Texas A&M player with at least 338 passing yards and four TD passes in a game since Nick Starkel had 499 and four in the Aggies’ 55-52 loss to Wake Forest in the Belk Bowl on Dec. 29, 2017.

431 Games have been played by Florida since it was most recently shut out, the longest scoring streak in major-college football history by 57 games. The Gators haven’t been blanked since losing to Auburn 16-0 on Oct. 29, 1988.
