A Huntsville man was indicted by a Madison County grand jury on capital murder charges in connection with a fatal shooting, court records showed.

Trinity Orlando Martin, 21, is accused of fatally shooting Jaylen King in Madison County, according to the indictment filed late last month in Madison County Circuit Court.

The indictment did not list any other details besides alleging Martin fatally shot King, who was a passenger in a vehicle, with a handgun.

WAAY reported the incident occurred in 2021, when Martin was a teenager.
