The Ravens elevated the former Alabama ball-carrier with running backs Justice Hill and Keaton Mitchell on this week’s injury report. Mitchell has a shoulder injury, and Hill has foot and hamstring problems.

In his eighth NFL season, Drake signed with Baltimore on Sept. 20 and was elevated for the Ravens’ 22-19 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Drake had two receptions for 31 yards and one rushing attempt for no gain.

The Ravens visit the Steelers at noon CDT Sunday.

In other NFL transactions on Saturday, three players with Alabama football roots became eligible to play on Sunday with the Houston Texans activating offensive lineman Tytus Howard (Monroe County, Alabama State) from injured reserve, and Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Cam Robinson (Alabama) and Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams completing their transition to active status after spending the first four weeks of the season on the suspended list.

Robinson served a suspension for violating the NFL’s Policy on Performance-Enhancing Substances, and Williams was sidelined for violating the league’s gambling rules.

Howard had surgery on Aug. 7 after suffering a broken hand at training camp.

All three players returned to practice within the past week.

On Sunday, the Jaguars play the Buffalo Bills at 8:30 a.m. in London, the Lions host the Carolina Panthers at noon and the Texans visit the Atlanta Falcons at noon.
