A man died early Saturday morning after being shot multiple times while walking to his car in downtown Dothan, according to the Dothan Police Department.

The victim, Jaquez Octavious Hill, was a 20-year-old man who was walking to his car from a nearby business.

Police responded to a 3:12 a.m. call notifying them there was a man with gunshot wounds in a business parking lot, police say. He was later declared dead.

At this time, authorities have not identified a suspect.
