An 80-year-old Mobile man was killed when the car he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer Thursday night, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

According to ALEA, a 2014 Ford Focus driven by James F. Orourke was traveling on Hamilton Boulevard within the Mobile city limits about 9 p.m. when it struck the load being hauled by a 2005 Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by Danny J. Bascle, 42, of Houma, La.

Orourke was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details were available as ALEA continues to investigate the crash.
