Mobile police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting which left a 29-year-old man dead.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting at Brookley Pointe Apartments on South Washington Avenue just after 11 p.m.

When they arrived, they found Leon Curtis VI dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

As is standard procedure, Mobile police are releasing no further details to “protect the integrity of the investigation,” according to a release.
