This Mobile stock leads majority group of gainers
Gainers outnumbered losers Wednesday on our Mobile and Alabama Stock Report as Wall Street enjoyed a rare positive day of late.
Mobile-based Computer Programs and Systems had the biggest gain, rising an impressive 5.6%.
WestRock was up, too, picking up 2.3%.
Honda, Enviva and Toyota anchored the bottom of the table, losing 2.6%, 2.5% and 2.4%, respectively.
Overall, Wall Street rose Wednesday after getting some relief from relaxing bond yields and falling oil prices.
The S&P 500 climbed 0.8% to claw back more than half its sharp tumble from a day earlier, which sent it to a four-month low. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 127 points, or 0.4%, a day after erasing the last of its gains for the year so far. The Nasdaq composite led the market with a gain of 1.4%.
