Voting closes at 11 p.m. on Wednesday with results posted on Thursday so make your selection below.

Players are selected from nominations by coaches or from AL.com game reports.

Jace Boyd, Corner: Contributed five tackles and two interceptions against Fultondale.

Z.J. Dale, Leeds: Ran 16 times for 160 yards and two touchdowns against Sylacauga.

Cole Gamble, Mountain Brook: Rushed 38 times for 239 yards and four touchdowns against Hoover.

Hunter Hale, Helena: Caught seven passes for 78 yards and three touchdowns and also returned a punt for a score against Jackson-Olin.

Eric Handly, Pleasant Grove: Completed 23-of-34 passes for 405 yards and two touchdowns against Parker.

Jaylen Mbakwe, Clay-Chalkville: Celebrated his 18th birthday by running 27 times for 171 yards and four touchdowns and completing 9-of-11 passes for 76 yards against Thompson.

Deon Moore, Center Point: Accounted for five touchdowns, completing 9-of-12 passes for 181 yards and four scores, adding seven runs for 61 yards and a TD against Fairfield.

Tre’Mell Washington, Ramsay: Caught eight passes for 135 yards and a touchdown against Auburn.

Desmond Watson, Banks: Had nine catches 196 yards and three touchdowns and two pass breakups on defense against Edgewood.
