Authorities are asking for the public to be on the lookout for a young runaway in Birmingham.

Gabriel Surrett is 12 years old. He was last seen about 6:45 p.m. Saturday in the 4300 block of 49th Court North.

Gabriel was wearing black shorts, a pink shirt with a flower design and black Crocs.

He is 5 feet tall and weighs 80 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
