Welcome to Yulman Stadium, where UAB faces off against reigning AAC champion Tulane. The Blazers are a 21.5-point underdog to Tulane for the 11 a.m. CT kickoff in the game that will air on ESPN2.

The Blazers are coming off their third straight loss of the season but showed dramatic improvement in their loss at No. 1 Georgia last week. UAB currently ranks 16th in passing offense (301.5 ypg) and quarterback Jacob Zeno ranks second in completions per game (32.5) and sixth in completion rate (75 percent).

— Tulane receives a short field on its second drive and covert on a fourth down before making it Tulane 7, UAB 3 on a 15-yard touchdown run by receiver Yulkeith Brown with 2:50 remaining in the first quarter.

— The Blazers take the kickoff and march 65 yards in 11 plays and make it UAB 3, Tulane 0 on a 31-yard field goal from Matt Quinn with 9:19 left in the opening frame.

— UAB wins the toss and elects to receive the opening kickoff.

— Redshirt freshman wide receiver Iverson “Strap” Hooks did not make the trip and has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL, according to a UAB spokesperson.
