Missing child alert issued for endangered Huntsville infant

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has issued an emergency missing child alert for an infant from Huntsville.

Kamarria Sharnay Bates is a seven-month-old infant, according to ALEA.

Huntsville police say the child, weighing 18 lbs., is believed to be in danger. She was last seen on Aug. 23 at approximately 10 p.m. in the area of Cutler Drive N.W. in Huntsville. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Kamarria may be in the company of her mother, Kiayah Miliayah Barnett. Barnett, 15, has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say they may be traveling to Colbert County or Calhoun County.
