ASWA prep rankings: Is change coming at the top soon?
There was little change at the top of the Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football rankings this week.
Thompson (7A), Saraland (6A), Ramsay (5A), Andalusia (4A), Mars Hill (3A), B.B. Comer (2A), Leroy (1A) and Glenwood (AISA) all remain on top in their respective classifications.

However, change could be on the way. Several of the top teams face tough challenges this week.
Thompson hosts Class 6A No. 2 Clay-Chalkville on Thursday in a game that will be televised by ESPN2. Ramsay hosts Class 7A No. 3 Auburn on Friday, while Mars Hill hosts unbeaten 5A Russellville.
