The earliest in the season that the Tigers and Razorbacks had squared off before Saturday’s game came on Oct. 19, when LSU defeated Arkansas 13-7 in 1935. Since Arkansas joined the SEC in 1992, all 31 of its meetings with LSU as conference rivals were played in November.
