If you think folks have forgotten about last year’s inspiring win over Texas A&M at Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium, think again.

The Auburn football program released its hype video ahead of Hugh Freeze and the Tigers’ visit to Texas A&M’s Kyle Field on Thursday and it featured clips of Freeze’s introductory press conference, when he recalled looking at his wife Jill and saying, “Oh, it’s still Auburn” while watching Jordan-Hare Stadium rally behind interim head coach Cadillac Williams as he and the Tigers topped the Aggies 13-10.

The video then shifts to Auburn veteran defensive back Jaylin Simpson, who narrates the remainder of the video.

“Last year, this game? It changed everything,” Simpson said, while highlights from last year’s game played.

“We feared no one,” Simpson continued. “It reminded us who we are… This year? This game? It’s about action. A spirit that’s unafraid. Arm and arm with our brothers. We’re ready to fight. When that punch comes, don’t blink.”

The Tigers, who hold a 4-1record at Kyle Field are set to kick off their visit to the Aggies on Saturday at 11 a.m. on ESPN. The Saturday morning matchup serves as the SEC opener for both Auburn (3-0) and Texas A&M (2-1) and is Freeze’s SEC debut at Auburn’s head coach.
