· In our Sunday Q&A Mobile City Councilman Josh Woods talks about fixing the brain drain from the city by focusing on quality of life and bringing in jobs.
· Why did the federal government make a small rural road change its name? It had something to do with the word “Rebel” as John Sharp reported.
· The Lede’s Margaret Kates continued her reporting into how the city is paying for mental health services in a story about how Arc of Mobile will start a day program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
· Did you get in on the Lede College Football Picks contest? If you’re a fan, check it out every Friday.

Every day the Lede brings you a lot more local news, not to mention state, national and world events worth reading about. And each edition has a page designed to tell you how to navigate The Lede. It even has a cool YouTube video.
We’re working to make the Lede better every day and we want your input. Suggestions? Constructive criticism? Stories you’d like to see? Questions about your community? Something for us to look into that will make your life better? Send me a note at [email protected].
