Moulton man charged with murder in Wednesday North Alabama fatal shooting

Lawrence County authorities have arrested one man in connection with a fatal shooting Wednesday night.

Timothy Houston Harville, 58, of County Road 160, Moulton, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of Angela Berryman Hill Harville.

Timothy Houston Harville is being held in the Lawrence County Jail with no bond pending an Aniah’s Law hearing.

Sheriff Max Sanders said the two were in-laws.

According to witnesses, Timothy Harville went to the residence of Angela Berryman Hill Harville in the Hatton Community at about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday. An argument started, with witnesses saying that Timothy Harville pointed a shotgun at Angela Harville and shot her in the head.

It is unclear what touched off the argument. An investigation is continuing.

According to Sanders, Timothy Harville was out on bond following an arrest last December on charges of shooting into an occupied dwelling/vehicle and two counts of reckless endangerment.

The State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) and the Moulton Police Department assisted with the investigation.
