An investigation is underway after a double shooting Monday afternoon in east Birmingham.

The shooting happened shortly after 2 p.m. at The Onyx apartments in the 600 block of Earline Circle.

Birmingham police Sgt. LaQuitta Wade said two people were shot. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.
