A 15-year-old boy carrying brass knuckles assaulted a 20-year-old woman during an argument Sunday night in Mobile, police said Monday.

Officers responded to the 5000 block of Cimmaron Court on a report of an assault around 8:15 p.m. Sunday, said Cpl. Katrina Frazier.

Officers at the scene determined the woman was assaulted during a dispute with her neighbors and that the boy used brass knuckles during the attack, Frazier said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 15-year-old boy was taken to Strickland Youth Center and charged with assault and carrying brass knuckles, said Frazier.
