Did you catch the Birmingham Lede last week? Here just five news stories you missed if you didn’t read our daily digital publication.
· In our Sunday Q&A, John Northrop of the Action Coalition for Transit talked about promoting more public transport and spending less on highways – specifically the Northern Beltline.
· Heather Gann, the Lede reporter in Birmingham, looked at how Birmingham’s popularity as a rental destination could lead to a tightening market.
· Long-time GASP leader Michael Hansen’s resignation means some things will change, but others won’t at the local environmental justice group.
· Gann reported that while Birmingham is the 10th most affordable place to retire, the quality of life scores leave something to be desired.
· Last week marked just the second week of the Lede College Football Picks contest.
