Tank Bigsby started his NFL career by scoring the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 31-21 season-opening victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Bigsby joined the Jaguars from Auburn as a third-round selection in the NFL Draft on April 28.

Bigsby finished his first NFL game with 13 yards on seven rushing attempts while spelling starting running back Travis Etienne.

Bigsby had a 4-yard run for a first down at the Indianapolis 1-yard line, and on the next snap, he went over the goal line for his first NFL touchdown.

Bigsby’s score with 5:14 to play allowed the Jaguars to take a 24-21 lead and spoil the NFL debut of first-round quarterback Anthony Richardson.

The former Florida signal-caller completed 24-of-37 passes for 223 yards with one touchdown and one interception and ran for 40 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries against Jacksonville.

Bigsby finished second in the AFC in rushing yards during the preseason with 159 on 28 carries in three games.

At Auburn, Bigsby ran for 2,903 yards and 25 touchdowns on 540 carries and caught 62 passes for 448 yards in three seasons.
