Shots fired outside a Fairfield gas station Saturday night left two people injured.

The shooting happened just before 7:30 p.m. at the Citgo in the 400 block of 54th Street.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, two victims were taken to UAB Hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

No suspects are in custody.
