Steve Sarkisian jabs Alabama after Longhorns take down Tide

Texas’ Steve Sarkisian talked prior to Saturday’s 34-24 win at No. 3 Alabama about standing in the middle of the ring and throwing haymakers.

The Longhorns’ coach couldn’t help but throw a playful jab in the postgame interview on the field.

When Holly Rowe asked Sarkisian, the former Alabama offensive coordinator, what it means to him and his program to come into Tuscaloosa and win at Bryant-Denny Stadium, Sarkisian threw his final punch.

“Well, I didn’t want to tell the guys that they were 52-1 in their last 53 games, so I guess they are 52-2 now,” Sarkisian said.
