5 teens arrested at Davidson High School; firearm found in backpack
Five teenagers were arrested at Davidson High School on Friday following an investigation into a break-in at a nearby home undergoing renovations.
The break-in occurred early on Friday in the 400 block of Yorkshire Lane in Mobile.
During the investigation, Mobile police say they found a firearm in the backpack of a 17-year-old boy. He is being charged with attempting to elude, unlawful possession of a gun, criminal mischief third degree and trespassing first degree.
Additional arrests included:
- A 16-year-old girl was charged with possession of marijuana, trespassing first degree and criminal mischief third degree.
- Two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old girl were charged with criminal mischief third degree and trespassing first degree.
All five teens were transported to Strickland Youth Center.
