ESPN’s Lee Corso gives early Alabama-Texas prediction

Lee Corso gave an early-morning Alabama-Texas prediction Saturday ahead of his “GameDay” broadcast, and Tide fans may want to sit down.

Corso told to Kirk Herbstreit the pick, and it was posted on “X“, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Texas is going to win,” Corso told Herbstreit. “I’ll whisper it, I don’t care. Texas is going to win this game.”

“I like Texas. Last year, they had the best-looking team physically last year. They matured and added a bunch of guys. Bert Auburn, field goal kicker, he kicked four against Alabama last year. He kicked three this year in the opener. He can be the difference.”

However, during the first segment of “GameDay,” Corso said Texas has two chances to win: Slim and none. It sounds like he is still debating with himself. The head gear pick, we assume, will be his final word on the topic.
