WR Donavon Greene had 37 receptions for 642 yards and six TDs, WR Jahmal Banks had 42 receptions for 636 yards and nine TDs, WR Taylor Morin had 47 receptions for 575 yards and nine TDs and WR Ke’Shawn Williams had 39 receptions for 553 yards and one TD for the Demon Deacons last season.

2 Consecutive seasons have started for Vanderbilt WR Will Sheppard with a pair of two-TD games. In 2022, Sheppard had two TD receptions against Hawaii and Elon. In 2023, Sheppard had two TD receptions against Hawaii and Alabama A&M. Sheppard added another TD reception in Vanderbilt’s third game last season – a 45-25 loss to Wake Forest.

Vanderbilt’s most recent victory over an ACC foe is a 23-21 decision against Wake Forest on Nov. 30, 2013.

329 Passing yards and three TD passes in Wake Forest’s 37-17 victory over Elon on Saturday for QB Mitch Griffis as he opened his fourth season with the Demon Deacons. Griffis has been a backup as Sam Hartman threw 90 TD passes for Wake Forest over the previous three seasons. Hartman transferred to Notre Dame in the offseason.

452 Passing yards and five TD passes for Vanderbilt QB AJ Swann in the Commodores’ 35-28 victory over Hawaii and 47-13 victory over Alabama A&M to open the 2023 season. Last season, Swann came off the bench in relief of Mike White to complete 8-of-11 passes for 146 yards and two TDs in the Commodores’ 45-25 loss to Wake Forest on Sept. 10, 2022.
