The Scottsboro restaurant joins more than 17 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Huntsville market, the announcement said.
While the Scottsboro location will have the typical options for dine-in, drive-thru or carry out, one of Its drive-thru lanes will offer Mobile Thru, which the restaurant said will enable customers to pick up their order in a separate lane after placing their order through the Chick-fil-A app.
The restaurant will have more than 100 full- and part-time employees.
Beth Monroe of Huntsville will be the owner/operator of the Scottsboro location.
“We’re excited to deliver a caring and impactful Chick-fil-A experience to this community,” Monroe said in the announcement. “Our vision is to be distinctly Chick-fil-A, but uniquely Scottsboro, which means that we want to help meet the needs of this community and serve our guests wholeheartedly and with a smile.”
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Food Bank of North Alabama, a certified member of Feeding America.
