Remodeled Hoover Walmart Neighborhood Market soon reopening

Walmart is announcing that its newly renovated Neighborhood Market at 3320 Lorna Rd. in Hoover will reopen on Friday.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 8 a.m., with Hoover Mayor Frank Brocato and others scheduled to attend.

The store features new signage, paint, fixtures, LED lighting and flooring throughout the entire store, as well as remodeled bathrooms.

There will be increased numbers of self-checkout lanes, manned registers and additional pharmacy windows.

“The modernization of the store represents the Walmart brand well, and customers will have a better shopping experience because of that,” Jeffrey Post, store manager, said. “We’re very excited to welcome our great Hoover customers into our store so they can see this incredible transformation.”

Walmart has remodeled several stores in Alabama recently, including Center Point, Huntsville, Fairhope, and Hazel Green.
