Fan voting will decide the Hollis Wright Birmingham high school football Player of the Week from the top performances in the area.

Voting closes at 11 p.m. on Wednesday with results posted on Thursday so make your selection below.

Players are selected from nominations by coaches or from AL.com game reports.

Jaquoryae Busby, Center Point: Caught 2 touchdown passes and added 2 tackles on defense against Aliceville.

Brendan Conner, Corner: Completed 8-of-14 passes for 185 yards and 3 TD, adding 8 runs for 56 yards and a score and converted a PAT against St. Clair County.

Deterrius Cutts, Montevallo: Led the defense against Shelby County with 2 interceptions, 6 pass-breakups and 6 tackles.

Terence Gaines, Mortimer Jordan: Ran for 255 yards and 3 touchdowns on 28 carries against Springville.

Keith Green, Hueytown: Led the defense in holding Clay-Chalkville’ to no offensive TDs with 8 tackles, 2 for-loss and an interception.

Hunter Hale, Helena: Had 252 all-purpose yards, grabbing 7 passes for 101 yards and 2 TDs and a 97-yard kickoff return for TD against Buckhorn.

John Paul Head, Vestavia Hills: Completed 11-of-14 passes to seven different receivers for 236 yards and 4 TDs against Homewood.

Jadon Loving, Hewitt-Trussville: Caught 5 passes for 149 yards and 3 touchdowns against Gadsden City.

Makhai Martin, Oak Grove: Ran 10 times for 131 yards and a touchdown against White Plains.

Naeem Offord, Parker: Caught a touchdown pass and threw a 41-yard TD pass on offense and recorded 3 tackles with an interception on defense against Ramsay.

Emerson Russell, Chelsea: Had 295 yards rushing with 4 touchdowns on 22 carries against Calera.

Issac Smith, Banks: Grabbed 8 passes for 196 yards and 2 touchdowns, adding 7 solo tackles and 2 interceptions against Patrician.

Jalen Williams, Bessemer City: Ran 20 times for 186 yards and 2 TDs against Tuscaloosa County.
