A Florida woman was killed in a Saturday morning crash on Interstate 22 in northwest Alabama, authorities said Saturday.

Janet R. Krehemker, 63, of Jacksonville, Fla. was pronounced dead after her vehicle left the interstate and struck a ravine, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency

The crash occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. Saturday near the 38 mile marker of Interstate 22, just east of Winfield in Marion County. No other vehicles appear to have been involved.

ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the incident. No additional information is available at this time.
