What’s coming to Prime Video in September 2023?

Prime Video has an all new lineup of movies and series set to come out this month.

This September, Prime Video members can tune into highly anticipated Amazon Originals including Gen V, Wilderness, Sitting in Bars with Cake, A Million Miles Away, Cassandro and the season two premiere of The Wheel of Time.

Prime Video’s exclusive coverage of Thursday Night Football is also set to return Sept. 14.

Based on the best-selling Robert Jordan fantasy series The Wheel of Time, a humble farm boy, Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski, Gran Turismo), learns he is The Dragon Reborn—a dangerous figure from history destined to save the world … or break it.

Inspired by true events, Sitting in Bars with Cake follows best friends Jane (Yara Shahidi) and Corinne (Odessa A’zion) navigating life in Los Angeles in their twenties. Corinne, the ultimate extrovert, convinces her shy-but-extremely-talented home baker best friend Jane to commit to a year of baking cakes and bringing them to bars with the goal of meeting people and developing confidence – also known as “cakebarring.”

During their year of “cakebarring,” Corinne receives a life-altering diagnosis, and the pair face a challenge unlike anything they’ve experienced before. Sitting in Bars with Cake isn’t only a madcap joyride through some of L.A.’s most colorful watering holes, it’s a moving celebration of female friendship, forging identity, and finding joy in the most unexpected places.

After deciding to return for his 12th NFL season, Kelce embarked on a remarkable journey, highlighted by the arrival of his third daughter; the debut of his chart-topping podcast New Heights, which he co-hosts with brother, Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis; and a history-making Super Bowl appearance that placed the entire Kelce family at the center of the sports world. In September 2022, Prime Video became the exclusive home for Thursday Night Football in what is the first year of a historic 11-year agreement with the NFL. The deal marked Prime Video as the first streaming service to air a season-long exclusive national broadcast package from the NFL, and includes 16 regular-season games and one preseason game per year.

This coming fall, Prime Video will also exclusively air the inaugural Black Friday NFL game.
