Huntsville police seeking information on vehicle in connection with murder case

Huntsville police are looking for a vehicle in connection with a Tuesday murder.

Major Crimes Unit investigators are seeking information on a 2017 silver Nissan Altima, with Alabama Tag 8784BD2.

The vehicle is missing the passenger side mirror and front passenger hubcap.

Police say it was stolen during the murder of Devin Tyler McDonald, 23.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Quality Circle shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The body of McDonald was discovered in a parking lot. McDonald was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death has been classified a homicide, but police say it is unrelated to the discovery of two gunshot victims later in the day.

Police say anyone who sees the vehicle should not approach it but contact (256) 722-7100. Anyone calling is asked to provide the location and the vehicle’s direction of travel.

Members of the public with any additional information about the case should contact Major Crimes Unit Investigators at (256) 746-4133.
