Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a man missing from Birmingham for more than two weeks.

Shive Jayendra Patel, 23, was last heard from on Aug. 15. Patel suffers from mental illness, according to Birmingham police.

He is known to drive a gray 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Patel is 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs about 230 to 240 pounds.
