Lane Kiffin trolls Jimbo Fisher with joker comment after Ole Miss beats Texas A&M

Lane Kiffin was on top of his game moments after his Ole Miss Rebels defeated Texas A&M 31-28 in College Station.

“I thought the running backs did well,” Kiffin told SEC Network’s Cole Cubelic on the field postgame. “390 yards rushing against a bunch of five-stars is pretty good.”

He wasn’t done there. Cubelic asked the Ole Miss coach what he was dressing as for Halloween.

“I don’t know, maybe Jimbo (Fisher) has a Joker outfit for me,” Kiffin said.

Earlier this year, there was much made of Texas A&M’s No. 1 recruiting class.

“We don’t have the funding resources as some schools with the NIL deals,” Kiffin said earlier this year. “It’s like dealing with salary caps. I joked I didn’t know if Texas A&M incurred a luxury tax with how much they paid for their signing class.”

Fisher replied days later to accusations, specifically to Kiffin’s comment as well as Nick Saban’s comments.

“And then to have coaches in our league say it? Clown acts,” Fisher said. “Irresponsible as hell. Multiple coaches in our league, the guys griping about NIL and transfer portal, are using it the most. That’s the ironic part. It does piss me off.”

The joker barb is, no doubt, a reference to being called a clown act.

Quinshon Judkins rushed for 205 yards, Jaxson Dart passed for three touchdowns and No. 15 Ole Miss beat Texas A&M 31-28.

Judkins had a 1-yard touchdown run with 7:18 remaining, helping Ole Miss rebound from its first loss of the season. Dart threw touchdown passes of 18, 1 and 2 yards. He was 13 for 20 for 140 yards, and also had 17 carries for 95 yards on the ground. Connor Weigman was 28 of 44 for 338 yards and four touchdowns for Texas A&M.

The Aggies lost their fourth straight game for the school’s longest slide since losing four straight at the end of the 2005 season.
