5 dead in Uniontown, Ohio murder-suicide
Five family members were found dead Thursday night in a home in Stark County in what police believe was a domestic dispute that “turned deadly.”
A news release from the Uniontown Police Department says officers were called to the home on the 13000 block of Carnation Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. to conduct a wellness check. When officers arrived, they found the victims, police say.
Police say the deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide. No other details were released, including the identities of the victims and how they were slain.
The Stark County Coroner’s Office, the Ohio Bureau of Crime Investigation and the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office are working with police in investigating the deaths.
