A Pell City woman was killed in a crash in St. Clair County.

Alabama State Troopers on Wednesday identified the victim as Stephanie R. Brasher. She was 41.

The wreck happened at 10:55 p.m. Monday on U.S. 231, about six miles north of Pell City, said Senior Trooper Justin O’Neal.

Brash was driving a Chrysler 300 that left the road, struck a ditch, and overturned into a retaining wall. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
