The Ernest L. Knight Complex at Alabama A&M was the scene of a shooting Tuesday afternoon where three people were reportedly injured.
The campus is now in an all-clear status as authorities investigate.
According to Sydney Martin with Huntsville police, the incident happened at about 5:40 p.m. outside the complex at 4900 Meridian Street.

Authorities say the shooting was an isolated incident that resulted from an altercation between two people.
One was transported by private vehicle to Huntsville Hospital with minor injuries. A second person was detained at the scene of the shooting with minor injuries.
“At this time, there is no evidence to indicate anyone else was involved in the incident,” Martin said. “This was not an active shooter incident.”
