2 killed in head-on crash on I-59 in Tuscaloosa County
A head-on crash on Interstate 59 in Tuscaloosa County left two people dead.
Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victims as James C. Hoskins, 28, and Donna M. Cline, 59.
The wreck happened at 6:22 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 59, about two miles north of Tuscaloosa, said Senior Trooper Justin O’Neal.
Authorities said Hoskins was driving a Chevrolet Colorado that collided head-on with a Ford Expedition driven by Cline. One of the drivers got on the interstate going the wrong direction.
Hoskins, of Tuscaloosa, and Cline, of Georgia, were both pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
