Tuesday was a day to forget on our Mobile and Alabama Stock Report as every stock on our list lost ground.

The losses hit every sector of the economy. Community Health Systems led the decliners, dropping 4.6%. Mobile-based Computer Programs and Systems fell 4.1%.

U.S. Steel gave back 2.7% after Monday’s massive gain.

Banks took some of the bigger hits, too: Synovus (3.5%), PNC (2.9%) and Regions (2.7%).

Jacobs Solutions and Spire “topped” the list, each losing just .4%.

Overall, a sharp drop for Wall Street capped a day of declines around the world Tuesday after discouraging data on China raised worries about the global economy.
