First responders are on the scene in Morgan County where authorities say a driver was pulled from a creek.

According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, Decatur firefighters pulled one subject from a vehicle on Flint Creek this morning.

The person was transported to the hospital. The incident happened on U.S. 31 near Kayo Road.

According to Decatur police, a vehicle ran off the road and into the water. Rescue crews are on the scene.

Drivers should continue to avoid the area as both directions of travel are closed at this time.
