A 33-year-old Mobile man was found dead along a city street Monday morning, with his cousin accused of murder.

Mobile police said officers responded to the 1700 block of Main Street about 6:39 a.m. Monday after receiving a report of a man in need of medical assistance.

When they arrived at the location, they found Ulysses O’Neal Harris dead on the side of the road. Police said initial investigation indicates Harris died from “multiple lacerations.”

A short time later, 29-year-old Antonio Tobias Waters, Harris’ cousin, was taken into custody at the Love’s Truck Stop on the west Interstate 65 Service Road.

No other details were released.
