A Birmingham-based developer paid $1.1 million for 5.3 acres in Spanish Fort Town Center at the corner of Cypress Way and Town Center Avenue in Spanish Fort, according to court records. The buyers plan to build an Alabama Recovery Center there, according to Angela McArthur of Stirling Properties, who represented the seller. Keith Shamblin of Shannon Waltchack worked for the buyer, LIV Development.

A local investor paid $1.15 million for 2.73 acres on U.S, 98 in Daphne across from the Walmart Supercenter, according to Jay O’Brien of Stirling Properties, who represented the sellers. John Vallas of Vallas Realty worked for the buyers.

Collins Aerospace has received site plan review approval to build a 95,000-square-foot addition to the west end of the existing building at 1300 W. Fern Ave., in Foley, according to city planning. The site is 80 acres.

Five Guys Burgers & Fries has leased the former Wendy’s building at 450 E. Nine Mile Road in Pensacola, FL., according to Angela McArthur of Stirling Properties, who represented the tenant. Alex McCauley of Retail Specialists worked for the landlord. Five Guys plans to open in the 3,035-square-foot building with a new interior prototype and a drive-up window next spring.

A local developer has received site plan review approval to construct Creekside International Speedway featuring a Go-Kart track, batting cages and bumper cars, at 20750 Miflin Road in Foley, according to city planning. The project is just west of Creekside Mini Golf.

Mersino Dewatering, a national one-stop source for dewatering and pumping services for groundwater issues, has leased a 6,820-square-foot warehouse at 3400 Hurricane Bay Drive in Theodore, according to Amanda Goldman of Stirling Properties, who represented the tenant. Brent Cumbest of Milling Commercial Realty worked for the landlord.

Watch for Pepper Palace to open in leased space at the Tanger Outlets off Ala. 59 in Foley and Baumhower’s Victory Grille will also open soon in the outlet near the Nike Factory Store.
