UAB football unveils new uniforms for 2023 season
Former UAB head coach Bill Clark was always a stark supporter of new uniforms for the Blazers and, most importantly, having ‘UAB’ emblazoned across the front of the jersey.
That will not change under the new administration.
Following the introduction of various Clark-era combinations in recent seasons and the grey and lime homecoming threads for the annual Children’s Harbor game, the UAB football program unveiled new uniforms today for the upcoming 2023 season.
All five uniforms will include the AAC emblem and a white wing along the collarbone will adorn all home jerseys.
The uniforms on display included home green jerseys on white pants and green on green, along with the team’s traditional road whites, and an update to the Children’s Harbor uniform that includes the white wing and double lime green bars on the shoulders.
The newest addition is an all-black jersey with the aforementioned white wing and green and white bars on the shoulders.
The Blazers are currently in the second week of fall camp and three weeks away from their season opener against North Carolina A&T, Thursday, Aug. 31, at Protective Stadium in Birmingham.
