Troy basketball announces Sun Belt schedule for 2023-24
Troy’s 2023-24 Sun Belt Conference schedule for men’s basketball has been released.
Scott Cross’ Trojans open conference play at Coastal Carolina on Dec. 30, a Saturday. Troy then returns home for four straight games vs. Old Dominion on Jan. 4, Appalachian State on Jan. 6, Louisiana on Jan. 10 and Southern Miss on Jan. 13.
Other Sun Belt home games for Troy include Texas State (Jan. 24), South Alabama (Jan. 27), Marshall (Feb. 7), Arkansas State (Feb. 15) and Louisiana-Monroe (Feb. 17). The Trojans will travel to South Alabama (Jan. 18), Southern Miss (Jan. 20), Georgia Southern (Feb. 1), Georgia State (Feb. 3), Arkansas State (Feb. 22), Louisiana-Monroe (Feb. 24), Louisiana (Feb. 28) and Texas State (March 1).
The Sun Belt Conference tournament is set for March 5-11 at Pensacola (Fla.) Bay Center. The Trojans are also scheduled to travel to Ohio for the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge on Nov. 8.
Troy went 20-13 in 2022-23, losing in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt tournament. The Trojans return two of their top five scorers from last season in Christyon Eugene and Aamer Muhammad.
