Pell City police received a 911 call at 2 a.m. Thursday reporting gunshots in the 600 block of Miracle Street.

Officers checked the residence and found 40-year-old Tuskonee Woods dead. Woods had been shot multiple times.
A 34-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, was also shot, and taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She is in critical condition, Swiney said.
