Decatur police have arrested a woman who they say struck another person with a vehicle.

The incident happened last Friday, when officers began an assault investigation following an incident at 1214 West Moulton St.

Officers at the scene found a victim in the business’ parking lot who had been ran over by another vehicle.

The victim was treated and released from an area hospital, police said.

Mi’Asia Shakiea Davis, 25, of Decatur was arrested today and has been charged with second degree assault and two counts of reckless endangerment.

Davis was booked into the Morgan County Jail on a $27,000 bond.
