Eagles QB Jalen Hurtsâ lock screen photo may surprise you
Whatever keeps your hungry, right?
Punter Ty Zenter, an undrafted rookie with the Philadelphia Eagles, unknowingly revealed quarterback Jalen Hurts’ lock screen photo. It’s the image of Hurts walking off the field after a Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
It appeared Zenter was taking a photo of rookies singing, but the picture also shows the former Alabama quarterback’s cell phone. The 38-35 loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in last season’s Super Bowl is prominently displayed.
It appears Hurts is properly motivated. Last week, Hurts talked about his “passion to prove,” the “tangible benefits of experience” and explained that “if you fail, you want to fail forward.” He also mentioned “goals change, standards don’t.”
That mindset and with the 7.1 percent body fat give the indication he is mentally and physically prepared for the upcoming season.
The lock screen photo shouldn’t be a surprise. Eagles center Jason Kelce revealed Hurts still beats himself up over the Super Bowl loss.
Hurts completed 27-of-38 passes for 304 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions and ran for 70 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries in the Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs.
