A shooting early Friday in Montgomery left one man dead.

Police identified the victim as David Green. He was 20 and lived in Montgomery.

Officers responded to South Haardt Drive about 12:20 a.m. to a report of a person shot, said Maj. Saba Coleman.

Green was pronounced dead on the scene.
