The Tennessee-based amusement park is set to open the HeartSong Lodge & Resort in November and is looking to fill some 250 jobs. Positions include housekeeping and guest relations managers, restaurant managers, security officers, front desk positions, servers, room attendants, lifeguards and more, according to Dollywood Parks & Resorts.
WATE reported hiring events are planned for Dream More Resort and Spa in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for Aug. 3 from noon-4 p.m., as well as at the same time weekly through Aug. 24 (Aug. 10, 17, 24) at the resort. Two hiring events are also slated for the Sevierville Civic Center, the first on Aug. 29 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and the second on Aug. 30 from 3-7 p.m.
HeartSong Lodge, set to open this fall, is part of a $500 million expansion by Dollywood Parks & Resort Group. The five-story 26,000 square foot resort will offer 302 themed family suites and bunk rooms, indoor and outdoor pools and an outdoor cove with gathering spaces. A two-story event center, full-service restaurant and lounge and large lawn are part of the development.
